The Conduit King XL Cable Drive is a tool accessory designed to assist in guiding and feeding cable snakes efficiently through tight conduit runs, bends, and long installations. It supports cable snakes ranging from 9mm to 14mm in diameter and is compatible with commonly used professional cable snake materials.

Cable snakes not included.

  • Fiberglass cable snakes (within supported diameter range)

Each Conduit King XL Cable Drive package includes:

  • 1 × Conduit King® XL Cable Drive unit
  • 1 × Drill attachment

3. Intended Use

The Conduit King XL Cable Drive is designed for professional use during conduit installations involving cable pulling and cable feeding operations. The tool is intended for de-energized applications only and must be operated in accordance with the safety instructions outlined in this manual.

The Conduit King XL is commonly used by electricians during commercial and industrial conduit installations that require controlled cable movement through tight spaces or long conduit runs.

General Safety Warnings

6. Installation Instructions

  1. Place the Conduit King XL Cable Drive on a stable, flat surface near the conduit entry point.
  2. Align the cable drive with the intended cable pathway.
  3. Ensure the conduit pathway is clear before feeding the cable snake.
  4. Secure the cable drive in position if required to prevent movement during operation.
  5. Confirm the drill is set to the clockwise / forward / drilling setting before attaching.

Never use an impact driver.


7. Operating Instructions

  1. Insert the cable snake into the Conduit King XL guide mechanism.
  2. Grip the cable drive firmly by the handle (refer to diagram below).
  3. Slowly operate the drill to feed the cable snake through the conduit.
  4. Maintain steady, controlled movement to ensure smooth cable feeding.
  5. Adjust positioning as necessary to prevent cable snake tangling or resistance.
  6. Once the operation is complete, remove the cable snake and power down the drill.
  7. Clean the tool and store it in a dry location after use.

The drill must always remain in the clockwise / forward / drilling setting.


8. Troubleshooting Guide

Issue: Cable snake becomes jammed

  • Possible cause: Misalignment
  • Solution: Reposition the Conduit King XL Cable Drive and retry

Issue: Excessive force required

  • Possible cause: Cable snake diameter too large
  • Solution: Use a thinner cable snake or adjust the feeding angle

Issue: Device feels unstable

  • Possible cause: Unsecured placement
  • Solution: Secure the cable drive before operation

9. Warranty & Consumer Rights

Warranty Information

  • The Conduit King XL Cable Drive includes a 12-month limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
  • The warranty does not cover accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
  • If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, return shipping costs will be covered by FM Enterprises WA PTY LTD.
  • This warranty is provided in addition to rights and remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer Guarantee Statement

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
